Community Co-Working
ByOthers is working with the Methodist Church in a rural village in Northern Ireland, to convert a disused local sports club into a vibrant community hub. We helped form the brief and conducted feasibility studies, suggesting a mixed programme of functions including a cafe, co-working spaces, community hall, and kitchen.
Location: Northern Ireland
Typology: Community Hub & Co-Working

Our proposed plan is arranged to suit the phasing of the project. A coffee shop occupies the front of the existing building with a new shop front giving the hub an inviting presence on the street. Upper floors host co-working space, and a new extension to the rear of the property provides a community hall opening out into a new wellness garden.
